Timeline Theories
There are many timeline theories, such as Triforce of Time, order of release, and the split timeline theory. We believe in the Split Timeline Theory. Here's how it goes. Minish Cap comes first, then comes Ocarina of Time. Then, here's where it gets tricky. Because of the two time periods in Ocarina of Time, there becomes two Hyrules. Hyrule A, the past, where Link's childhood takes place, and Hyrule B, his adulthood. In Hyrule A, there comes Majora's Mask, obviously, and after trying to return to Hyrule by boat, Link's Awakening. When Link arrives home, there comes A Link To The Past, and then the original Legend of Zelda, and Adventure of Link. Afterward, there comes the Oracle Series. OK. Back to Hyrule B. First came Twilight Princess, which obviously takes place in the future, then Wind Waker, and very obviously afterwards at the end: Phantom Hourglass.
