Oracle of Ages

Oracle of Ages and its sister Oracle of Seasons were the first Zelda games to be able to exchange information with one another. In Oracle of Ages, Link is mysteriously transformed to the kingdom Labrynna and soon learns that the beautiful singer Nayru (Not to be confused with Nayru the Triforce goddess) has been kidnapped by the evil sorceress Veran, who seems to be power hungry. Veran is using Nayru's power to bring the two time periods, past and present, out of whack. Now Link has to travel through time once again and rescue the land of Labrynna from an infinite rule of Veran!

TriforceTour Rating Breakdown

Graphics: 8.3
About the same as Oracle of Seasons, but more a la Link's Awakening with some extra eye candy.
Gameplay: 9.3
WHY IS THE SWORD STILL AN ITEM?
Playability: 9.2
In this game, there are more puzzles than battles (but that doesn't mean there aren't any awesome bosses). At TriforceTour, we prefer puzzles over action.
Overall: 8.9
More than anything, I have enjoyed this portable Zelda the most. I didn't get too far into it, and right now I have misplaced my game cartridge, but all the same, my yearning for this game has not changed. Rock on, Nintendo.
