Legend of Zelda

Released in 1986 for Japan, and 1987 for the US, this game is what started it all. It's about Link, a young boy who saves Princess Zelda's attendant, Impa, from a hoard of monsters. Impa tells Link of the Triforce of Wisdom, a mystical and all powerful triangle that an evil man named Ganon attempted to steal and kidnapped Princess Zelda to do so using his Triforce of Power. Link now has to recover the Triforce of Wisdom and save Zelda from Ganon to restore order to the kingdom of Hyrule! If you can get the chance to go out and buy it, do so now. It's worth the time and money.

TriforceTour Rating Breakdown

Graphics: 9.1
The graphics were enjoyable, for an NES game. Classic games are what we at TriforceTour live for!
Gameplay: 9.7
The gameplay was really easy to follow and you didn't have to think twice, or read the manual, to get it right.
Playability: 9.9
If you practice, you really could get good at it. In other words, you'd enjoy it. TriforceTour garuntees it (but you won't get your money back if not).
Overall: 9.6
This game was great and it was the fourth Zelda game I fell in love with. For its time, the top-down graphical style was ingenius, the gameplay was simple yet effective to offer a great fantasy adventure, and the game was more than just playable: It was involved.
