A Link to the Past

This is sometimes considered the greatest Zelda game of all time, of course, that is arguable. In this game, it is meant to take place 100 years before the original Legend of Zelda. They also went back to the top-down style of Zelda I. Here's the storyline. Ganon has somehow broken his seal in the Evil Realm and is back to destroy Hyrule. He manages to get his hands on the Triforce, and sends a wizard pawn, Agahnim, to the Light World and tells him to imprison the seven maidens. Link, a small boy that seemed of no importance, is pulled into this chaos and has to rescue all seven maidens, acquire the Master Sword, destroy Agahnim and Ganon, and get the Triforce!

Gameplay: 9.9
An improved system of Zelda I's gaming style. And that's good.
Playability: 9.4
You can walk diagonally. You can slash your sword and perform a spin attack. You have many, MANY new items. You've got an involved story. Convinced?
Overall: 9.7
One of Link's best adventures ever. There isn't much else to say except two thumbs up, five stars, etc. The best Super Nintendo/Super Famicom game ever released.
